The Mont Blanc Tunnel sees traffic volumes totalling around 1.8 million vehicles a year, which obviously causes a decreasing air quality in the surrounding areas. For this reason the tunnel operators now decided to use our ECCOEP to clean the exhaust air!

 

For years now the amount of traffic through the Mont Blanc Tunnel is more and more increasing. Thus it was inevitable that the air quality in the nearby town of Chamonix was steadily deteriorating. The tunnel operators now decided to invest into an air filtration system to clean the exhaust air and to reduce the particulate matter load for the inhabitants.

The existing ventilation building was actually not built for a filtration plant, but we are looking forward to take the challenge and install our new ECCOEP without any major modifications!
