Franz Hiesl, vice governor and person in charge of the road and tunnel network of Upper Austria, visits our ECCO filtration system in Madrid to gather impressions of the possibilities for the Westring Tunnel project in Linz!

For Hiesl it was a great experience to see the final result of the tunnel system in Madrid. Where in the past were traffic jams and air pollution, traffic is fluent now underground and new recreational areas on the surface offer various possibilities to relax.

Hiesl was impressed by the technology we installed in the tunnel system. Nine ECCO filtration plants, two of them with NO₂ filtration, ensure clean air in the tunnels and on the surface. After his return to Austria he decided to invest into a filtration system to use the best technology to protect the citizens from air pollution.
